Bloomfield Hills— Sandra Layne sobbed Monday in court as she heard her grandson's voice on the 911 recording: "My grandma just shot me — I'm going to die."
The chilling call came May 18 from Layne's West Bloomfield Township condominium as Jonathan Hoffman, 17, pleaded with a dispatcher for help.
The call depicted a struggle between two people, one of them with a gun. At one point, Hoffman said, "I've just been shot," and gives the condo's address. He told the dispatcher it's his grandma who shot him: "I'm going to die."
