Dogfighting, Metro area rapper link probed

The Michigan Humane Society is investigating animal cruelty claims raised by a viral video allegedly of a Metro Detroit rapper that shows pets believed to be used in dogfighting.

The undated footage, posted Monday on LiveLeak.com and other websites, allegedly shows Young Calicoe touring an unidentified home he says has a backyard "zoo" with some pit bull-like dogs in kennels and one chained beside a doghouse.

The rapper, pointing to a caged rooster, says: "We fight them, too. That's a grand champ right there."
