Second man charged in Macomb County robbery spree

Chesterfield Township— A second man has been arrested and charged in a November armed robbery spree, officials said Tuesday.

Travis Wayne Blubaugh, 21, was arraigned Monday on two counts of armed robbery in 42-2 District Court in New Baltimore, said Det. Sgt. Deron Myers with the Chesterfield Township Police.

Bond was set at $500,000 for Blubaugh, who is in the Macomb County Jail. If convicted, he faces life in prison.

Police say Blubaugh is an accomplice and the getaway driver for Michael Zech, 28. Zech is accused of three armed robberies Nov. 15-17 in Chesterfield and Clinton townships.
