Detroit — Police on Thursday released photographs and the identity of the man they say is responsible for firing a shotgun at a van and wounding a 3-year-old girl earlier this week.
The incident happened Tuesday afternoon, when police say Vernon Coles, 20, opened fire and wounded the girl, who remained in stable condition at a local hospital Thursday.
