Farmington Hills — Tucker Cipriano and Mitchell Young were ordered Friday to stand trial in the April baseball-bat attack that killed Cipriano's father, Robert, and injured his mother, Rosemary, and younger brother Salvatore.

The decision in 47th District Court followed nearly two hours of testimony in the second day of a preliminary exam that began May 23. Cipriano, 19, and Young, 20, are charged with -degree premeditated murder and two counts of assault with intent to murder. Both have been jailed without bond since shortly after the April 16 attack.
