Deliberations continue in Ferguson's bid-rigging case

Detroit— Jurors started a second day of deliberations Monday in contractor Bobby Ferguson's $12 million bid-rigging case.

It is the first full day of deliberations after lawyers finished delivering closing arguments Friday in U.S. District Court. Jurors spent about six hours before breaking for the weekend.

The month-long trial has focused on an alleged conspiracy targeting a low-income housing project that prosecutors say cheated taxpayers out of millions of dollars.
