Detroit officers make 87 arrests in 3 days; seize 20 guns, 8 cars

Detroit— A three-day Detroit Police drug operation resulted in dozens of arrests, the confiscation of several guns and $1.3 million worth of cocaine, marijuana and Ecstasy.
Detroit Police narcotics officers executed 43 raids from June 6-9, arresting 87 people and seizing 20 pistols and rifles, along with several bagfuls of pink, green and yellow Ecstasy pills, large quantities of cocaine and a bin full of marijuana. More than $12,000 in cash and eight vehicles were seized.
