Roseville— Police may have made the first arrest in Macomb County for the violation of a law banning the sale of synthetic marijuana.

Roseville Police Chief James Berlin said Wednesday officers arrested the owner of a tobacco and cigarette shop and a store employee on marijuana and gun charges.

He said the arrests were made after officers seized a large quantity of synthetic marijuana, known by the brand names K2 or Spice, from the Smokers Alley store on Gratiot near Martin Road.
